A spacious and comfortable en-suite room with twin zip and link beds, which can be joined to be a double bed. There is enough space to sleep up 3 people using an extra single bed, which can be added to the room upon arrangement.
The room is furnished and decorated to the highest standard, offering modern comforts including tea and coffee with complementary extras, large flat screen Smart TV, radio alarm clock, free high speed Wi-Fi and fully fitted wardrobes with ample luggage/storage space.
Spotlessly clean, good cooked breakfast and a super proprietress made this an ideal stop on the C to C walk. Rooms are a reasonable size with tea and coffee facilities and there is ample parking for the size of property.
Greeted at the door with a smile and a warm welcome, bedrooms clean, tidy and most comfortable. Great full English breakfast. Anybody wanting somewhere to stay and racing at CKC could not do better than stay here. Made us very welcome indeed
This was our first stop after leaving St. Bees on the Coast to Coast Walk. The Thorntons were welcoming and helpful to us, giving us a lift to and from a local pub, and next morning a great breakfast and instructions for the next stage of our walk.
A cheerful warm welcome, beautiful room, nice & clean, tidy just like home. Will recommend. If we are this way next year, we will definitely call to see if you have a free room. Best of luck for the future.
Warm and friendly and breakfast to die for - huge sauage and as much toast, tea, coffee as you should wish - great start for the day. A very clean B&B and hosts Jean and Peter are very pleasent and obliging. I do not hesitate in recommending Jasmine House to anyone .
